The Actuarial Science Club is back with its second Spring Symposium!

This year, we will continue our exploration into the world of insurtech, emerging trends, and the rise of non-traditional practices. Over the last few years, the actuarial space has seen itself revolutionized with the rise of data driven analytics, automation, and AI. With these trends and innovations come their corresponding risks which, in turn, are constantly remodeling our idea of risk management within the industry and expanding it beyond its current boundaries.

This foreshadows an unknown, yet exciting future. Join us at our symposium to get a glimpse of this exciting future where we hope to demystify the key drivers of change within the industry, connect you with the leaders of these trends, and ultimately, expand your personal and professional horizons!

The symposium is a half-day event that consists of speakers from a variety of practices which is capped off with a networking session. It is a great opportunity to not only receive first-hand knowledge from industry leaders, but also to build professional relationships with the guest speakers and your peers. Additionally, a resume book will be compiled of all registered attendees and sent to event sponsors! RSVP to the Facebook event page to stay up to date with the symposium details, or check back on this page for our speaker reveal and schedule of the event. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
